About Me
I am a proud United States Air Force Veteran and owner of Mission Essential Sales Development. After serving 14 years in the Air Force and earning my Bachelor’s Degree in microbiology I moved to Columbus for my new career. I worked as a microbiologist in the food safety industry and quickly realized lab work was not for me. I love science, but I love interacting with people more, which led me to my passion – sales!
The entrepreneurial bug hit me in February 2019 and I launched MESD! Throughout my sales career I noticed many small business owners struggled to grow their businesses; because oftentimes they were wearing many hats and they didn’t always have the resources to hire a full-time sales rep.
Additionally, I actively volunteer in the community. I am a member-at-large on the Ohio Valley Institute of Food Technologists board, where I have been a member since 2014. I also serve on the board of GETDOT, a nonprofit networking organization that enhances the lives of children in the community. I volunteer on my son’s high school hockey team as the team’s game operations manager. And lastly, my favorite role is being a mom to Westin, who is my ‘best gift ever”.
